A combination of training and
non-training stresses affect athletes.
I use an adaptation of the Daily Analyses of Life
Demands for Athletes (DALDA) questionnaire to help evaluate stress.
The questionnaire has two parts. Part A concerns the
general response to life’s stresses, of which training is one. Part B assesses
the athlete’s reactions to stresses.
